By using and/or creating an account on www.sotan.mx (hereinafter the “Website”), or interacting through SOTAN's social media accounts (“SOTANMX”) indicated on the Website, or sending emails to emails with the domain contacto@sotan.mx, sofia@sotan.mx , sotan.bronceado@sotan.mx You expressly accept the processing (obtaining, use, disclosure or storage of Personal Data) of the Personal Data that is collected by SOTAN in accordance with the terms established in this Privacy Notice (hereinafter the “Privacy Notice”) pursuant to the Federal Law on the Protection of Personal Data Held by Private Parties and its Regulations.

For the purposes of this Privacy Notice, the following terms shall be understood as defined, in addition to those defined in the text hereof:

Personal data that will be processed.

SOTAN may collect Personal Data from the Holders directly, personally or through cookies, web beacons and other similar technologies when using the Website.

SOTAN will collect the Personal Data necessary to, among other things, understand and profile its users and for other actions carried out in accordance with the Website

The Personal Data of the Data Subjects that may be collected and will be subject to processing are:

• Identification data (including data derived from your own physical characteristics)

Please be advised that SOTAN does not process sensitive data; in particular, data that may reveal aspects such as racial or ethnic origin, present and future health status, genetic information, religious, philosophical and moral beliefs, trade union membership, political opinions, and sexual preference are considered sensitive.

The Personal Data specified above will be used primarily for the following purposes:

The processing of Personal Data provided by the Holder will be limited to the fulfillment of the purposes provided in this Privacy Notice and other purposes that are compatible or analogous to those established in said notice, without requiring the Holder's consent again.

Means to limit the use or disclosure of your Personal Data.

In accordance with the Federal Law on the Protection of Personal Data Held by Private Parties and its regulations, and subject to the exceptions provided, you have the rights of access, rectification, cancellation or opposition in relation to the Personal Data collected by SOTAN

To exercise the rights of access, rectification, cancellation and opposition described above, you or your legal representative must submit a written request sent to SOTAN's address or email, which is specified in this Privacy Notice, with the following information and documentation:

• Documents that prove your identity and/or the identity of your representative

Unless you expressly indicate that you wish to receive a response through a different means, SOTAN will respond to your request via the email address provided in your application within a maximum of twenty business days, counted from the date the request for access, rectification, cancellation, or opposition was received. If the request is deemed valid, it will be processed within fifteen business days following the date the response is communicated to you. In the case of requests for access to Personal Data, SOTAN will proceed with delivery upon verification of the identity of the applicant or their legal representative, as applicable.

The aforementioned deadlines may be extended once for an equal period, provided that the circumstances of the case justify it.

The provision of Personal Data will be free of charge, with the Data Subject only required to cover justified shipping costs or the cost of reproduction in copies or other formats, where applicable. However, if the Data Subject reiterates their request within a period of less than twelve months, the costs will not exceed three days of the current General Minimum Wage in Mexico City, unless there are substantial modifications to the Privacy Notice that warrant new consultations.

In the event that SOTAN does not have your Personal Data, we will inform you through the means by which you made the request.

Mechanisms and procedures for revoking consent.

You may revoke your consent for the processing of your Personal Data collected in accordance with this Privacy Notice at any time. To do so, you must follow the procedure below:

• Submit a duly signed written request, addressed to SOTAN, at the address or email address shown in this Privacy Notice.

• You must specify clearly whether you wish to revoke your consent in full or in part.

• You must provide the data that allows your identification within the SOTAN database.

SOTAN will respond to your revocation request within 30 business days from the date your request is received.

Transfer of Personal Data.

STYRA is committed to ensuring compliance with all legal principles of data protection regarding the transfer of your Personal Data. Likewise, STYRA is committed to ensuring that this Privacy Notice, which will be communicated to you by any individuals or entities to whom your Personal Data may be transferred, is respected at all times, in order to provide you with the appropriate service and the highest quality.

SOTAN may disclose your personal data in response to information requests from competent authorities in accordance with applicable regulations.

SOTAN may transfer and send Personal Data to national and international third parties, for the fulfillment of the purposes established in this Privacy Notice and to provide the best service.

National or international data transfers may be carried out without the Data Subject's consent in the following cases, among others: I. When the transfer is provided for in a Law or Treaty to which Mexico is a party; II. When the transfer is necessary for medical prevention or diagnosis, the provision of healthcare, medical treatment, or the management of healthcare services; III. When the transfer is made to parent companies, subsidiaries, or affiliates under the common control of SOTAN, or to a parent company or any company within the same SOTAN group that operates under the same internal processes and policies; IV. When the transfer is necessary by virtue of a contract entered into or to be entered into in the interest of the Data Subject, by SOTAN and a third party; V. When the transfer is necessary or legally required for the protection of a public interest, or for the administration of justice; VI. When the transfer is necessary for the recognition, exercise, or defense of a right in legal proceedings; and VII. When the transfer is necessary for the maintenance or fulfillment of a legal relationship between SOTAN and the Data Subject.

The above transfers do not require the consent of the Holder since they are provided for in article 37 of the Federal Law on the Protection of Personal Data Held by Private Parties.

The Data Subject expressly authorizes the transfer of their Personal Data to a third party. If they do not consent to the transfer of their Personal Data to a third party, they must send an email to contacto@sotan.mx , sofia@sotan.mx , or sotan.bronceado@sotan.mx.  

Access to your Personal Data derived from your interactions and use of the functionalities of the Website.

The administrators of the company and/or project profiles with which you interact through the Website will have access to your Personal Data, who will be aware of this Privacy Notice at all times and will assume the same obligations as SOTAN.

If you wish to share information about a company or project with your acquaintances, the recipient will receive an email from SOTAN identifying you as the referring user, and the invited person must follow the corresponding steps indicated on the Website.

Limits of Liability.

SOTAN will keep your Personal Data confidential and will process it in accordance with this Privacy Notice and applicable law. However, since the Website is a platform through which you can interact and share information with other users, SOTAN is not responsible for the use that you and other users make of that information.

Likewise, SOTAN will not be responsible for information that users share with third parties, through social networks, emails or any other means of communication.

Applicable legislation

This Privacy Notice shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the applicable laws of the United Mexican States.
